To start....

I'm Bryan. I'll be my in-game name to myself since it doesn't relate to my opinions or suggestions on the forums. I played UO on and off for... well... since before I knew how to actually install games on a computer or what a credit card was. About 10+ years. Since I was 11ish. I moved on to freeshards once AoS came out, returning every few months to keep my house and what not and check out the community. I got tired of the same old and started my own free shard, boasting a 25 player average hosted on an emachines with 512 ram. It was a great experience despite my lack of quality hosting.

I sadly moved to WoW beta, played through both expansions and had the 4th lvl 80 death knight on skullcrusher. Imadk. This is a sad period of my life... Luckily god invented beer and fraternity parties to see me through this time.

I then gave up on mmorpgs and played Call Of Duty WaW. Stayed clanless to avoid the drama and got accused of cheating a good 15 times a day in public games. Then one fateful day when I did my daily mmorpg.com check I saw a forum post about linkrealms in the recent threads window. The rest is history.

A little about me... I'm in SAE. Currently Social Chair I go to BGSU. I'm a writer, of books, not poetry. I love parties, I love women, and I love being social chair.

Theres my introduction. I look forward to everyone new in the forums to posting theirs HERE IN THIS thread.

Hi i been gaming since the realm by sierra 1995 then i moved to uo in 97 until 2001 when i started daoc since thenj iver tried everything under the sun but none of it matches the gameplay of uo. i have been searching searching and searching and i think finally you guys have the right game for me.

i am 37 yrs old and can play 40-50 hrs a week easy.

I have played different mmorpg during my life.
After 3 years of UO I have tried almost all freetoplay on the market and a lot of paytoplay. The last ones has been AgeOfConan, Darkfall, BBO online.

Well, I've been playing Warhammer Online for the last couple of months, but it was never really fulfilling enough PVP for my taste. I just stumbled across the thread for LinkRealms on morpg.com a few weeks ago, and it sounds great to me. A game that is a spiritual successor to UO!

Anyway, if anyone has a spare code I would appreciate it if you could PM it to me.

Hello, I am spanish and played UO for 9 years (and play now all days!). I love MMORPG play too City of Heroes (CoH-CoV) and Dofus now. And played Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Tabula Rasa and Darkfall.
I looking for some good game where I could have very hour of entertainment.
In February a friend said me Linkrealms and I love all I read (isometric view, giant flytraps, gardening, Linkrealm editor...) , this game have very good things but I havent luky whit beta and only can see some pictures and questions replys.

I've played many different MMO's under the sun, ranging from strictly PVE, to PVP, and the ONLY game that has been any fun at all was runescape. Yes, it was ruined some time ago, with the removal of the wilderness, and the invention of that STUPID arena, but it was an AWESOME game. I could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, however I wanted. I played it for about 2 years, and got really tired of the stuff jagex did to it, so I left. Since then, I've tried games like WoW, FFXI, Vanguard, EVE, WAR, etc. and none of it has been able to take the place of runescape.

Like someone mentioned before, I stumbled across a thread about linkrealms at mmorpg.com, and watching the trailer, just wow. I want to play it. I wanted to play UO, but didn't know what the game was until I was 17-18 years old, and prime time is over. From my research, UO is heavily item based, and that is EXACTLY what I want to get away from.

I would really enjoy and contribute very much to this game if I were to get a beta code. I wouldn't waste it.

Im not too confused, this thread looks official .. hmm smells slightly pedestrian.

I have many years of gaming experience. From L.o.R.D. all the way to modern day. I long for the good old days of UO. I still build and design and play with my UO world client. I also even have a current account in good standing. 9 year veteran account as of this time. I still regret the couple years I quit playing. Most only because I could not keep the guild playing together. But all good things , came to an end. Still I am searching for the ONE. Could this be it ? It shows promise and the masses speak in hushed tones of this new champion that might bring back freedom to this desolated landscape of tortured cartoons bound by the restraint of constant grinding and collecting of innocent cartoon fox tails. PLease be my champion. Save the world from the mindless clicking of millions of gold famers. Invite me to join in on paving a great new way to mindlessly waste my time. PLEASE ?

I just made a thread explaining i am an experienced beta test in the MMORPG testing field.

My name is Andy and I am 21 years of age. I LOVE mmorpgs, they are my hobby .. (not sure if thats a good thing lol)
But I would absolutely love a key for this game. I will talk to and play with people in game as well.. im a huge dungeon crawler fan.

This looks like a fun game and i would like to help if need be.

Tho far from offical, I like the idea of posting an introduction in one place.

I have been gaming since about 98 with Merdian 59 and then UO. I have beta tested, both open and closed. I have closed tested in CoX, WAR, Tabula Rasa, and Vanguard. I have open beta tested nearly all the major titles out there. I am 29. I like the idea and overall vibe of this game. I would like to get a beta key just like every one else who doesnt have one, but honestly, I wont be heart broken if I dont. I look forward to hearing more of this game as it gets closer to open beta and release.
